JANUARY
- January 19th at 5:30 – Munchie Monday in the Pub. Bring a dish to share with friends. Relay For Life raffle QUILT tickets will be for sale: one for $2 and six for $5
- January 21st at 6:00 – Game Night in the Pub.
- January 22nd at 5:30– Dinner Show with Dueling Pianos Program. Pat Dey is chairperson. This is sure to be the wildest dueling piano show in the south with two singing pianists and lots of audience participation. Dallas Reese is an accomplished singer-songwriter and has over three decades of experience performing. John has over 20 years of experience and has performed across Florida and the US. Tickets are $35 for dinner and show and available from Beverly Brooks-Gore or Diane Tebaldi until COD January 15th. Menu is BBQ Ribs, Cheesy Potatoes, Coleslaw, Corn Casserole, Roll & Key Lime Pie. - January 27th – Ladies Luncheon will be held Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at Carrabba’s Italian Grill in Winter Haven. Sign up at the clubhouse by COD 1/24. Meet at the restaurant at 11:30. Any questions, call Rhoda Rice.

FEBRUARY
- February 1st – LHE Olympics and Greek Dinner. We are having a fun afternoon of events celebrating the upcoming Winter Olympics in February. Kris will be preparing a Greek Dinner to follow the games. You may attend one and/or both events. The Olympics are free. Dinner tickets must be purchased in advance( COD January 26).
- LHE Olympics: 2:00pm – Come Join the Free Fun at the LHE Olympics on Sunday, February 1,2026 beginning at 2PM. Meet in the Pub for directions. Awards will be given for the man and woman receiving the most points in each event. LHE Olympic medals will be given to the top men and women who compete in all 10 events. All awards will be presented at the conclusion of the Greek Dinner following the games at approximately 6:15PM. (You do not need to purchase a dinner ticket to attend the awards ceremony.) Check out the poster on the bulletin board for the events.
- Greek Dinner: 6:15pm – In celebration of the upcoming Olympic Games that originated in Greece, there will be a Greek Dinner on February 1st following the LHE Olympics at 5:30pm. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased from Beverly Brooks-Gore or Diane Tebaldi. The menu: Greek Salad, Souvlaki (marinated chicken), Lemon Herbed Potatoes, Pita Bread and Tzatziki Sauce, and Baklava (walnut and honey pastry). Ticket purchase COD is January 26th. - February 27 & 28 – 9:00 to 1:00 – LHE Garage Sale; Friday, the 27th will be for residents and Saturday, 28th will be for the public.Dick Karhoff will chair the traffic control. He is looking for more volunteers to help. Please contact him if you are available. Pat Dey will chair the Bake Sale. We are seeking donations of baked goods to sell. A signup sheet is in the clubhouse. Jackie Pratt will chair the Hot Dog sale.
MARCH
- Saturday, March 14th – Dinner Show with Rich Wilson will be returning. His last show, a mixture of music and comedy was wonderful, and we are sure this will be also. Diane Tebaldi is the chairperson for the show. Patty Shaffer will prepare an Italian dinner of stuffed shells, meatball, Italian sausage, salad, and dessert. Ticket for dinner and show is $25. Tickets will be available on Feb 1st from Diane Tebaldi and Beverly Brooks-Gore. COD to purchase tickets is March 7th. Dinner is at 5:30 and show is at 7:00..
- Sunday, March 22nd at 3:30 – Spring Poker Run. Sign up will be available Feb 1st in the clubhouse. Meet at the Pub at 3:30 for your list of homes. Joann Hoffman is the chairperson for the Poker Run.
- Dinner at 5:30 – Following the Poker run at 5:30 there will be dinner of sub sandwiches, chips and ice cream sundae prepared by Carol Mangino. Price is $10. You must purchase your ticket in advance for the dinner. COD to purchase tickets for the dinner is March 15th. You may do the poker run and not the dinner, or the dinner and not the poker run. Tickets will be available Feb 1st from Diane Tebaldi or Beverly Brooks-Gore
