Please be aware that the state of Florida has passed two statutes that apply to LHE. Statute 379.412 refers to NO feeding wildlife. This also means bird feeders. The SandHill Cranes are being attracted to the bird feeders and then in turn are damaging the nearby golf course holes. A chemical deterrent helps, but is costly. A second statute is 790.53 which refers to the Open Carry law. Notices will be placed at entrances to the Clubhouse, explaining the statute.
