At the Board Meeting on August 21, a resident indicated that we were not allowed to post signs that weapons were not allowed in the clubhouse.
We contacted our attorney and received confirmation that we are allowed to post the signs under statute 790.06 section 12, which states “A license issued under this section does not authorize any person to openly carry a handgun or a concealed weapon or firearm into any establishment licensed to dispense alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises”.
