- September 22- Ladies Luncheon will be held at Lucille’s American Cafe in Winter Haven on Tuesday, September 22. Sign up at the clubhouse by COD 9/19. Meet at the restaurant at 11:30. Any questions, call Rhoda Rice.

- October 8– PIZZA NIGHT—$5 pizza, order by 5:30pm
- October 9– LHE Bowling League– 9:00 each FRIDAY through March 19 at Incredible-Bowl in Winter Haven.
- October 12- Munchie Monday – 5:30-Bring a dish to share with friends.
- October 13- Coffee Talk at special time 10:00 – Guest Speaker regarding Medicare changes and open enrollment.
- October 15- Thirsty Thursday – 5:30-You are welcome to bring snacks to share.
- October 16 – KARAOKE—6pm
- October 18 - Fall Golf Cart Poker Run – 3:30 followed by a delicious community dinner. Play for just $5 per card, paid the day of the event. Please sign up in advance at the Clubhouse.Meet at The Pub at 3:30 PM to receive your list of designated homes where you’ll draw your cards. Return your cards by 5 PM for judging — all money collected goes back to the winners with the best hands. After the run, enjoy a BBQ dinner at 5:30 PM featuring BBQ burgers, calico beans, macaroni salad, and dessert. Dinner provided by Phil and Patty Shaffer. Dinner tickets are $10 and must be purchased in advance from Mary Ann O’Callaghan. COD is October 11th for dinner tickets. - October 31 – Halloween Dance Party – from 6:30–9:30 PM. Join us for a fun-filled evening with DJ Dan. Come dressed in your best costume for a chance to win prizes in our Costume Contest. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased from Mary Ann O’Callaghan. Bring snacks to share at your table. Table reservations open at 1 PM on the day of the event. NOVEMBER
- November 1– Salvation Army Toy Drive – We will be collecting new, unwrapped toys beginning November 1st, with all donations going directly to children in need. The deadline COD to donate is December 2nd. For questions, please contact Chairperson Beth Muntzinger.
- November 26 – Thanksgiving Buffet – 1 PM. Turkey and gravy will be provided by the Social Committee, and everyone is asked to bring a dish to share. Please sign up in the hallway with the number of attendees in your party and the dish you plan to bring. Guests are welcome — a $5 Buffet/Potluck guest ticket is available from Mary Ann O’Callaghan. - November 28. – Decorate for Christmas – 9:00am. Meet at the Clubhouse. All are welcome to join us to Decorate for Christmas. Let’s turn LHE into a magical Christmas Wonderland. Questions: Contact Cindy Poling, chairperson.
